Our Story,
How it all began.
The AHI Academy began as a sub-unit of AHI in the year 2000 as a source of uplifting women in their careers as well as imparting Islamic knowledge.
The Anjuman-e-Himayath-e-Islam laid its foundation in 1307 AH by the then Prince of Arcot, His Highness M. Munawar Khan Bahadur and a few other community leaders. Initially AHI was a means of provision of food and accommodation to Muslim Orphan and destitute children, which gradually upgraded into an institution for formal and Islaamic education. AHI is now working towards its goal in becoming an outstanding and professionally managed social, charitable and educational organization in order to promote unity, brotherhood and mutual trust among the Ummah.

The teachers were truly amazing, friendly, approachable and always will to go extra mile to ensure we understood the material. The psychology classes were also more than just a course it was a journey of self discovery. It really is an eye opening experience. Beyond academics the sports and cultural activities were a highlight on my overall experience. I am so glad I took the leap and joined this college.
